| Prof. Jansen in conversation with the UFS |
Prof. Jonathan Jansen, Rector and Vice-Chancellor of the University of the Free State (UFS), is often engaged in conversation with staff and students of both the Main Campus and the Qwaqwa Campus. During these conversations, which take place in the form of imbizos, Prof. Jansen shares his plans for the university with staff and students. The campus community also uses this opportunity to tell Prof. Jansen about their challenges, suggestions and sometimes voice their satisfaction with certain issues.
Prof. Jansen is also often seen at a number of places on the Main Campus where he is in conversation with staff and students. His first “Talk to me” session that took place in front of the Main Building at the end of last year was followed by similar sessions at, amongst others the Thakaneng Bridge and in front of the entrance to the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences.
Prof. Jansen also often visits residence where he enjoys the company and interaction with students. |
