Welcome to the home page of the Recognition of Prior Learning project! This project is a joint initiative of the Free State School of Nursing and the University of the Free State through collaboration with the Free State Higher Education Consortium.
This project attempts to address current issues in the domain of widening participation and access into higher education by aligning strategic issues of social responsibility and redress of the partner institutions with current legislation in higher education.
Through this collaborative project, two higher education partners in the Free State region are striving together towards effectiveness, efficiency and quality in the area of the recognition of prior learning towards access and credit within higher education.
