GAW608: The focus of this module is on women’s experience in their day to day working lives. The strategies used to cope, as well as policy changes and organizational changes needed to address the challenges that they face in the workplace also receive attention is this module. The course material attempts to facilitate better understandings of the lives and work experiences of women at work with a view to enabling the learner to develop strategies to promote the empowerment of such women within their work environments.
