The Juridical Society (JS) is an independent society in the Faculty of Law at the University of the Free State (UFS) which represents all Law students at the UFS. The society consists of various portfolios, covering all facets of your student life to ensure that you not only enjoy being a student, but that you also succeed in your studies in order to develop into a professional legal practitioner.

We are a dynamic team that strives to be the:

• helping hand for our fellow Law students on both academic and personal level to ensure that balance is reached
• available ear that listens
• voice of the students by informing the faculty and the Dean about compliments, complaints, and suggestions

  Furthermore, we want to emphasise that:

• we are student leaders for students, thus we understand their worries, fears, and dreams
• we care and want to give advice
• we appreciate inputs from the students
• all our events are planned and organised for the students to enjoy and to grow as legal practitioners
