Maluti-A-Phofung Annual Youth Dialogue

The university has partnered with the Maluti-A-Phofung to form an annual Youth Dialogue platform.

The UFS QwaQwa Campus Debating Society (UDSQWA) won the Maluti FET Harrismith campus counterparts. The two teams debated the controversial topic over “the Secrecy Bill” and the UFS was in support of the Bill.

After a very intense session that captivated the audience, the Kovsies were declared overall winners. The Kovsies team took home trophies for the best team of the year 2012 and the best speaker, as well as medals for meticulously presenting their case.
