Congratulations to students of the Gesellig Afrikaans Language Acquisition short learning programme who successfully completed the 2019 first semester course! Gesellig Afrikaans (GA) is presented every semester by the Department of Afrikaans and Dutch, German and French. Foreign language speakers can enrol for the beginner's course (GA1), while the advanced course (GA2) is ideal for third-language and foreign-language speakers with a basic knowledge of Afrikaans.
Gesellig Afrikaans is presented Mondays and Wednesdays (GA2), as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays (GA1) from 17:00 to 18:00 in the Flippie Groenewoudt Building, Block B, Room 201. The first meeting next semester will take place on Wednesday 24 July 2019, same time and place. If you are interested, please contact Karen Combrinck at combrinckk@ufs.ac.za.
