IIA at UFS

The International Institute of the Arts (IIA) at the University of the Free State (UFS) is an extra-academic entity established to advance research, teaching, and community engagement in the arts and related disciplines. Formally embedded within the UFS framework, the Institute extends the University’s academic reach by fostering collaboration across departments, divisions, and faculties.

As an interdisciplinary platform, the IIA brings together scholars and practitioners from diverse fields to explore shared areas of research and innovation in the arts.
