Resampled is a selection of artworks from the Absa collection that have been re-sampled or appropriated by a younger generation of artists. The exhibition features the original artwork and the newly re-sampled work.  Artworks from the Absa collection include South African pioneer artists such as JH Pierneef, Irma Stern and Joe Maseko. Artists participating in this exhibition and which were given the opportunity to resample the original were previous top 10 entrants in the Absa L’Atelier art competition and include artists such as Katherine Bull, Collen Maswaganyi and Bambo Sibiya.
