Nanette Mulder obtained a BCom and BCom Honours in Industrial Psychology, both at Unisa. She started her career at the UFS in 2010 as a facilitator for the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences. In 2016 she was appointed as the learning designer for the EMS faculty. Staff engagement and development of a participative learning experience through the use of technology is her passion. She has experience working in the public, private and higher education sectors. True dedication to full student engagement by using technology motivates her to learn and grow constantly.
She is a Certified Blackboard Trainer and employs her experience to train staff to use Blackboard to enhance their learners’ experience and engagement in their classes. In her capacity as learning designer she is involved in various projects in the Curriculum Development and Innovation focus area, including Clicker Technology, Module Makeover and Blackboard Collaborate.
Her areas of interest include curriculum innovation and development; e-learning and blended learning; staff training and development; and educational technology.
