Short CV

In 2008 I completed my LLB degree and in 2012 a PGLL (Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law). I am a member of the Golden Key International Honours Society for being in the top 15% of students at the Faculty of Law.

I have been working at the e-Learning Division in the Centre for Teaching and Learning since 2009. In November 2010, I attended Eiffel Corp Professional Training in Cape Town on the use of the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS), with delegates from other major universities in South Africa.

My duties at e-Learning include assisting academic staff and students with any enquiries relating to Blackboard and I am also part of a team that manages the online components of over 1500 modules. I create online modules at the request of academic staff and ensure that they and their students have access to the module. I also create online tests and assignments and facilitate the assessment process under the supervision of Learning Designers and Blackboard administrators within the e-Learning Division to ensure that staff and students get the best use out of Blackboard.

My other duties include offering training to staff in the use of Blackboard, and working as part of a team in the e-Learning Division that helps more than 30 000 students with the use of Blackboard. I was also a part of team that provided training to to more than 3000 students for the compulsory UFS101 module.
