I am an NRF rated researcher. My primary focus is on fostering research and development of entrepreneurial competencies and behaviours vital for successfully navigating the entrepreneurial pipeline (intentions, start-up, own/manage, grow, and exit), with a special emphasis on students and women entrepreneurship. I use cutting-edge scientific approaches (e.g., phenomenology, experiential learning approach, quasi-experimental methods, 2-wave studies, and dairy studies) to understand the entrepreneurial phenomenon and test the effectiveness of an intervention to ensure that her recommendations (i.e., theory, practical & policy) are evidence-based. My passion lies in creating new knowledge that can help entrepreneurs (especially students and women) to transform their day-to-day practices and behaviours to enable them to act on their ideas, improve performance and foster the growth of their businesses. My work has practical implications for students, women entrepreneurs, and the business community in general.
