Students at the Jonathan Edwards Centre Africa are from around the world, including Botswana, Canada, Lesotho, Nigeria, South Africa, South Korea, and the USA. Students are characterised by academic and research aspirations, as well as self-directing in their guided studies through the advice of an international group of senior scholars. Students include pastors, and teachers at seminaries, colleges, and universities. The academic integrity of the programme and international support of scholars as well as hands-on support of the staff at the Jonathan Edwards Centre, coupled with an affordable tuition rate, are attractive to many applicants. The rigorous admission process through personal interviews, submitting research proposals and a first chapter of writing, which are internationally reviewed together with an attainable timetable for completion of master's or doctoral work, as well as the publication of PhD studies with international academic publishers, contribute to the critical acclaimed reception of the (post) graduate programmes.
