Leriska Haupt is a haematologist at the Universitas Academic Hospital (UAH) NHLS laboratory in Bloemfontein. She obtained her undergraduate degree (MBChB) at the University of the Free State (UFS) in 2008. Her postgraduate qualification as a haematologist (FCPath (SA) Haem, MMed Haem (cum laude)) was obtained from UFS in 2016. Dr Haupt is involved in laboratory diagnostics & research and is a UFS lecturer for undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has a special interest in haemostasis, runs the Bleeding and Thrombosis clinic and consults for the Paediatric Haemophilia clinic at UAH.
