Professor Lynette van der Merwe is a medical practitioner specialized in Health Professions Education and leads the Division Health Sciences Education at the University of the Free State in South Africa. She is involved in Health Professions Education research, postgraduate training and supervision and faculty development. Her research interest is the holistic development of current and future healthcare professionals
