  • PhD (1996): “The development and evaluation of a computer-based teaching programme for student nurses in clinical practice”;

  • MSocSc (Nursing) (1990): “The role of clinical teaching in the professional socialisation of student nurses”

  • BSocSc (Psychology and Sociology) (1986);

  • Diploma in Nursing Education (cum laude) (1986);

  • Integrated Diploma in Nursing (cum laude) (1980);

  • Assessor and moderator training (Health Professionals Education and Training UFS) (cum laude) (2012); and

  • Clinical preceptor training (School of Nursing) (2012).
