Melissa Lucas
Melissa Lucas is currently an honours student of the Department of Political Science and Transformation at the University of the Free State (UFS) pursuing research on the voices of female students on gender politics at the UFS Bloemfontein Campus. Her study investigates the lack of representation of female students in political issues and spaces, despite their comparatively higher enrollment numbers.

Melissa is also employed as a research assistant in Higher Education and Development projects with the SARChI Chair in Higher Education and Human Development Research Group and has been a principal member on various projects including the ongoing Photo-voice project


Kabelo Selaledi is a graduate with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Free State.
He has a participatory research background and serves as an integral part of both the Enabling Success and Access to Higher Education research projects of the SARChI Group.

Kabelo is currently registered for an Honours in Curriculum Studies.His research interest include curriculum design and development.
Ana Almanza holds a BSc in Food Sciences and worked for seven years with a multinational company in Argentina and the UK towards the development of health and beauty products. With this experience, she decided to become a chemistry teacher and underwent teacher's training, eventually joining the Teach for All organization based in Argentina.

Ana is now enrolled for a Master’s Degree in Development Studies at the University of the Free State, channeling her interests in STEM pedagogies in higher education and the trajectories of students who are pursuing science degrees.
