1. Qualifications

2018             Obtained the degree Master of Arts with specialisation in Art History and Image Studies at the University of the Free State, Bloemfontein.

2016            Obtained the degree Baccalaureus Artium Honores with specialisation in Art History and Image studies (with distinction) at the University of the Free State, Bloemfontein.

2015      Obtained the degree Baccalaureus Artium (Language Studies) (with distinction) from the University of the Free State, Bloemfontein. Main subjects: English, Afrikaans and Dutch, Art History and Image Studies and German

2. Working experience

2019

Employed full time at the University of the Free State as a junior lecturer in the department of Art History and Image Studies.

2018

Contract appointment as junior lecturer in the department of Art History and Image Studies at the University of the Free State lecturing two undergraduate modules: HKGK 3728 and HKGK 3718.

Contract appointment as junior lecturer in the department of Afrikaans and Dutch, French and German at the University of the Free state lecturing two undergraduate modules: GERB 1524 and GERB 1514

Conceptualized and lead a public discussion titled “Bookwork: enlivenings of the book” for the Free State Arts Festival’s Literature Festival

2018

Conceptualized and lead a public discussion titled “Trees of Knowledge: the pre- and afterlives of books” for the Free State Arts Festival’s Literature Festival.

Presented a public lecture related to Willem Boshoff’s performance Big Druid in his Cubicle (which formed part of this year’s Free Sate Arts Festival), namely: “The origins of Big Druid: an exploratory tale”. Lead another discussion related to this performance titled “Exploring the interworld between performance art and theatre: an interdisciplinary conversation”.

2017

Opened the annual Fine Arts Graduate exhibition at the University of the Free State.
