Come and rewind with an evening of mellow saxophone sounds!

The South African Saxophone Quartet was established in early 2008 and ultimately strives to encourage the performance in South Africa of the vast international saxophone ensemble repertoire. Renaissance, Classical, Romantic and Modern works punctuated by the occasional Jazz moment provide a beautiful and exciting repertoire for the SASQ. The quartet consists of Matthew Lombard (soprano saxophone), Braam de Villiers (alto saxophone), Tanya Brown (tenor saxophone), Brian Smith (baritone saxophone).

PROGRAMME:
The programme will include, amongst others, the following works:
Tango – K.Street
Celtic Suite – G. Whitlock
Three Preludes – G. Gershwin
Le Coucou – L.C. Daquin
Cool – L.Bernstein
A woman is a sometime thing – G. Gershwin
Oblivion – A. Piazzolla
Dance Suite – M.J. Regan

ADMISSION:
R80 (adults)
R50 (pensioners, students and learners)
