Short CV

Dr Heinrich Alt completed his PhD in  Philosophy in 1995 and his MA in Higher Education Studies in 2002 at the University of the Free State. He has been employed at the UFS since 1998 when he started to work at the Strategic Service of the University of the Free State. Dr Alt then worked at the Centre for Higher Education Studies and Development (CHESD) and then for the Planning Unit. Dr Alt worked on research projects and compiled various reports. He has delivered papers at several conferences. Dr Alt has visited prominent researchers in Higher Education in Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom and has published in journals and presented workshops; and has successfully supervised postgraduate students. He is currently working in DIRAP as an institutional researcher.
