Mbozi Santebe

Mbozi Santebe is a PhD student in Economics at the University of the Free State under the International Studies Group. He holds a Master of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Arts with Education, both from the University of Zambia (UNZA). He taught African History at UNZA in 2016-2017. His research interests lie in the colonial and postcolonial economic history of Zambia, with particular focus on the development of statistical works. He is also interested in the history of economic crises. His PhD research focuses on the production of economic statistics in Zambia from the 1940s to 2018 in the changing local, regional, and global context.
