Carol C Ngang holds the LLB (Yaoundé II), SUSTLAW (Antwerp), IDHA (Fordham), LLM and LLD (Pretoria). His research interests are in the areas of human rights and development, with particular focus on the right to development in Africa, sustainable development, socioeconomic rights and international law. He has been a visiting scholar at the Cegla Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on the Law, Tel Aviv University, Israel, and at the Law and Development Research Centre, University of Antwerp, Belgium. He has published a co-edited book, four book chapters and ten research articles in local and international journals. He is the principal convener of the International Conference on the Right to Development. He has also previously worked in different capacities with international NGOs in Cameroon and South Africa.
