1997 - Attorneys Admission Exam, came 1st in Free State.

Career: 1976 - 1983: Department of Nursing UFS.

1989 - Admitted as advocate of the High Court of South Africa.

1989 – Lecturer and in the Department of Private Law UFS.

2005 - to date: Associate professor Department of Private Law UFS.

1999 - to date: Instructor School for Legal Practice of the Law

Society of South Africa.

2005 -January/February: Institute for Advanced Legal Studies (University
of London): Lectured International Trade Law in their Penn State

University, Spring program.

2005 - to date: Co-organiser and coach of the Willem C Vis International

Arbitration Moot team. Accompanied team to Vienna, Austria in

Medical law, Law of delict and customary law: She has delivered a number of papers at both national and international conferences, has authored a number of accredited research publications and chapters in textbooks. LL.D dissertation: Legal liability resulting from medication errors.
