This study group focuses on medico-legal entomology. Insects of forensic importance and their role at various crime scene scenarios are investigated. In this regard, the group is consulted to process insect evidence found at crime scenes or collected from the morgue. Currently, the group is part of a project to establish a multi-disciplinary work group at the university that will facilitate a holistic approach to forensic science.
