Area(s) of Interest

Veterinary ectoparasitology, with particular emphasis on ticks infesting livestock and pet animals. Various aspects of the biology, ecology and control of veterinary important ticks are studied. I also conduct research on the sheep scab mite, lice infesting goats and sheep and fleas of pet animals. The ultimate aim of my research is to develop effective control strategies. In this respect I work in partnership with the industry.
