Akasia – 'Culture/Cultivated'
Established in 1974, the Akasia Residence Community consists of 179 ladies who share a thirst for living, learning, and achieving excellence. As reflected in our slogan 'Culture/Cultivated', we form part of the rich Kovsie culture, while simultaneously co-creating our own culture with the contribution of each of our students’ unique identities. It also means that we celebrate what each student uniquely contributes to our shared identity as a residence community. Here, we celebrate each student.
We aim to create a shared space that promotes excellence through celebrated diversity, which allows each student to excel, while expressing her own unique identity. We are committed to empowering each student in her personal growth and development, providing students with the necessary support and opportunities for involvement. Our goal is to integrate living and learning, allowing our students to make the most of their lives as Kovsies.
