Imperium is your home away from home where you get an opportunity to express yourself as an individual and grow together with your fellow Impies. We pride ourselves on our academic excellence and strive to always create an amazing welcoming atmosphere for every member, so that they can develop holistically in every aspect of their varsity life.
Imperium stands for 'absolute power', and that's what we promote in everything we do. As a co-ed residence, we give members a chance to get to understand each other's backgrounds and be able to interpret the diverse aspects that each and every person brings to the table. We appreciate each and every person's presence and promote it thoroughly, and that's why we are still the most diverse residence in the University of the Free State.
