Khayalami – Unity in Diversity
Founded on the principles of brotherhood, respect, and diversity, the Khayalami Residence Community has been a strong presence on the Kovsie campus since its inception in 1996. The name Khayalami means 'my home', capturing our essence as a residence community – to create a shared space where each student will be welcomed to belong and inspired to excel. We do this while also supporting each individual to have a well-rounded and balanced student experience.
At Khayalami, we take pride in the diversity of our students, each unique identity is celebrated and appreciated. We know that our diversity is our strength. Each unique beat works together to create a vibrant and dynamic rhythm, of which we are all part. In this medley of unique identities, our shared identity as a residence community is co-created. This belief is reflected in our motto: 'Unity in Diversity'.
