School Group visits

We welcome school groups to our Science Centre and offer a unique and interactive experience that explores various scientific concepts in a fun and engaging way. The Sci-Ed Education Centre is all about innovation, technology and science and provide the perfect opportunity for a school field trip.

Hands-on learning at our exhibitions and scientific experiments in the science centre's laboratory promises to enrich all learners' understanding of science. Apart from interacting with our exhibitions, the Sci-Ed Education Centre offers various CAPS-related science sessions for Grade R to Grade 12 groups.

Fees for School Groups

  • R20 per person for a visit to the Science Centre only
  • R40 per person for a laboratory session only (Session topics below)
  • R50 for a visit to the Science Centre combined with a laboratory session
