Citrus Academy did a virtual presentation about their bursary fund, which they give to 60 students per annum. If you missed this virtual presentation, view the recording here.

The bursaries are available to Citrus Production-related fields and the criteria to qualify includes:
  • A citizen of South Africa, Swaziland or Zimbabwe;
  • Studying full-time or part-time at a registered tertiary academic institution (like the UFS);
  • Studying in a field related to citrus production or research;
  • Not going to be a first year of study;
  • Interested in a career in the citrus industry; and
  • Satisfied that you are able to comply with the terms and conditions of the Bursary Fund agreement and the Citrus Academy Code of Conduct.
Online applications run every year from 1 June - 30 September.
