Mandela Day 2012

The 18th of July every year marks the birth of one of the most highly recognised people in the world, the father of the South African nation. On this day people dedicate 67 minutes of their time to do something that will change someone else’s life.

This year two day-care centres were visited, namely Lokolohang and Beisang Mabewana, where about 90 students and staff members took part. Different activities were embarked on varying from cleaning, washing laundry, repainting the playground and gardening. All the students and staff members who participated in these activities enjoyed the day.
