Project description

This is a partnership established in 2012 between TATA Africa Holdings and the Department of Business Management in the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at the University of the Free State. As business partner, TATA lives out their vision to be involved in various educational initiatives that empower the community.

Project content
  • This project provides final-year students in Marketing the opportunity to apply their theoretical disciplinary knowledge in a business scenario.
  • In reciprocity, the students provide fresh perspectives on marketing to the communication team of TATA.
  • The project supports students to develop their employability skills towards achieving and sustaining effective service delivery, by integrating the ‘real’ world with the university classroom.
