NB: It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that his/her registration has been completed correctly [correct study code/module code(s)/centre of presentation].

After you have completed your online registration, we will email a copy of the proof of registration to your preferred email address (as indicated on your application)

You must make sure that you are registered correctly on or before the last date allowed for changes (7 February 2020) to avoid financial complications or problems with bursaries.

After 20 February 2020, you are not allowed to register for any first-semester and year modules. You can cancel second-semester modules until 15 August 2020.

  • You cannot carry over any uncompleted/discontinued modules to the next year; you will also have to register for that module again the following year.

Campus students must collect their supplementary notes at Minolta, Level 1 UFS Sasol Library as soon as possible after registration.

  • Distance education students in BSc (Quantity Surveying) and BSc (Construction Management) must send their registration (proof of registration) as confirmation per fax to E Jacobs at +27 51 401 3394.
  • e-Learning students (BIur/LLB) in the Faculty of Law must confirm their registration with C Nel at +27 51 401 2433 or send an email to nelc1@ufs.ac.za, or alternatively contact RV van der Ross at +27 51 401 3532 or send an email to vanderrossrv@ufs.ac.za.
  • Module information available on Blackboard is applicable to distance education, e-Learning, and resident students.
