Cancellation of modules
After registration has been completed, all students can freely make changes (cancellation/discontinuation of modules) by means of the self-service process, except during examination periods.

First semester: 31 March 2021, cancellation with financial credit.
No financial credit will be granted for first-semester modules and year modules discontinued from 1 April 2021

Second semester: 15 August 2021, cancellation with financial credit.
No financial credit will be granted for second-semester modules and year modules discontinued from 16 August 2021.

The electronic process cannot be used by students who register for occasional study modules, or students who register for extended programmes. Changes must be made on campus in person.

  • Requests must not be submitted to lecturers / at departments (except in cases where the department concerned is responsible for such registrations).

Checking of registration
Students must ensure that they are registered correctly on or before the last day allowed for registration(first semester: 26 February 2021(Seniors) and 13 March 2021(First years) ; second semester: 20 July 2021) to avoid financial complications or problems with their bursaries.

Uncompleted/discontinued modules registered for a specific year cannot be carried over to the next year, and a new registration process must be followed.
