Kovsie ACT is a learning opportunity for students who want to learn about sustainable environmental development through fun community building activities. It is an opportunity to learn new skills and build valuable relationships.

Why Kovsie ACT

Kovsie ACT programmes develop specific attributes that will help students upon graduation to position themselves optimally in the labour market.  For example, students learn to listen and communicate better, they acquire time management, and interpersonal relationship skills. Kovsie ACT also makes students aware of transnational problems that affect the human condition, like food insecurity, environmental sustainability and the socio-economic challenges in a global and local context.  In this regard our programmes encourage students to become active global citizens

With the different programmes and activities, Kovsie ACT strives to create collaborative learning and through the process of working and learning together, students foster quality relationships that lasts throughout their study period and beyond.

Get Involved

The best way to participate in ACT events is via your campus or city residence.  Our 27 residences are divided into six colleges and these colleges are assigned to different communities. 

While making a meaningful contribution, you will have loads of fun, making your student years memorable.
