Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Convocation of the University of the Free State (UFS) to deal with the following matters:

UFS launches partnership with IRCA Global

The University of the Free State (UFS) has officially launched its partnership with IRCA Global, an international risk management solution provider in the areas of safety, health, environment and quality. As part of the agreement the UFS will offer short learning programmes, a diploma and a degree in Risk Management. Both parties will co-operate in the establishment of a unit within the Faculty of Law that will be responsible for these qualifications. At the launch were from the left, front: Dr Neels Swanepoel (Faculty of Law: UFS) and Mr Carel Labuschagne (Chief Executive Officer: IRCA). Back, from the left: Mr Gerhard Barnard (Chief Financial Officer: IRCA), Adv. Jaco de Bruin (Faculty of Law: UFS) and Mr Wensley Misrole (IRCA Training and Education Executive).
