PAREXEL, Bloemfontein

The Training seminar will be a 4 days intensive course covering all aspects of Mass spectrometry from Ionization techniques, Mass filters, Detectors, MS/MS analysis, Vacuum systems, LC-MS and LC-MS/MS techniques, Quantification, Fragmentation Analysis, Interpretation of Spectra as well as some applications. (Complete course agenda).

The course is intended and suitable for everybody, from people who has never worked with Mass spectrometry, to more experienced users.

The course presenters have more than 30 years experience in Bioanalytical chemistry and Mass Spectrometry and are heading up the Bioanalytical Services Division of the PAREXEL laboratories in Bloemfontein. The laboratory currently utilises 18 LC-MS/MS instruments, mainly for quantitative and qualitative analysis of drugs and metabolites in biological fluids as well as R&D and training.
