I am lecturer specialising in Management and cost Accounting.

I completed my B.Com Accounting degree at the University of Pretoria in 2009. I went on to complete my Honnours degree at the same institution in 2010. In 2011 I was an academic trainee at the Financial Management department at the University of Pretoria. I also passed my first SAICA board exam in this year. I passed my second board exam in 2012 and completed my training contract with PwC in 2013.

I was registered as a Chartered Accountant with SAICA after the completion of my training contract and moved on as an Auditing senior with Mazars in 2014. My academic path started at the University of the Free State in 2015 where I am still currently employed as a lecturer.

I completed my Masters in Accounting with distinction in 2019. The title of my thesis is: Academic viability - Costing teaching modules at a South African university.

I am passionate about my subject area and developing students into responsible citizens that takes responsibility for their choices and their future, knowing that they can change the world.

My main focus of research is the application of Management and cost accounting principles in service organisations. I amparticularly passionate about the financial sustainability of Traditional universities.
