Short CV

Chris Vorster has been writing, directing and acting for stage and television since 1995. In 2000, he joined the soap opera, 7de Laan, as the character Ryno Lategan. He was also involved with the story development and directed more than 600 episodes during his 14-year stay. He has written and directed approximately 55 plays and acted in approximately 60 stage productions. He has won 9 national awards respectively for writing, directing and acting. In 2015 Chris relocated to Bloemfontein where he is a lecturer in film and television at the UFS Visual Media Hub.
