Short Description of the SLP: |
The purpose of the short learning programme is to enable health care practitioners to prevent and treat patients with pressure injuries comprehensively according to the available best practice principles to the benefit of the patients, their families, and health care providers. |
Admission Requirements: |
Degree/diploma in Nursing with a registration as professional nurse at the SANC according to the Nursing Act, Act No. 33 of 2005 OR Professional registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in terms of the Health Professions Act, Act 56 of 1974 |
