Adv Shirly Hyland appointed as new director for the School of Financial Planning Law

Adv Wessel Oosthuizen has been synonymous with the School of Financial Planning Law (CFPL) at the University of the Free State for the past 13 years. The success of the CFPL lay in the vision and passion that Wessel had for financial planning in South Africa.

Wessel resigned from the university with affect from 31 December 2013, and although we have been saddened by his departure, we wish him all the best on his new adventures and challenges that lie ahead. Shirly Hyland, who acted as the Deputy Director of the CFPL for the past three years, has been appointed in his place as the new Director.
