1. What impact has GradStar had on your life in 2018?
Gradstar has had an extremely positive impact on my life. Firstly, I feel like I have gained more confidence in myself and my abilities by being chosen as one of the top 100 students. Secondly, I have also gained a lot of new skills thanks to Gradstar, including networking with new people and being a team player. Lastly, because of Gradstar I have had the opportunity to meet some of the best people, who are all driven and hard working. They are truly inspiring.
2. How do you stay motivated and on track with your studies?
I stay motivated by setting adequate goals for myself. I make sure that the goals I set are not unrealistic, but still challenging at the same time. I also surround myself with students that are just as hard working and committed as I am.
3. What drives you to excel in your studies?
What drives me is that fact that I want to be the best possible version of myself. I am also driven, because I know by working hard I am paving a road for myself and opening doors that will one day lead to a successful career. Lastly, I work hard, because I want my family to be proud of me. 4. Will you recommend GradStar to other students? Why/Why not?
Yes, I would recommend Gradstar to anyone. It is such great learning curve. It is also a great opportunity to broaden your horizon, see what you’re capable of and to meet new people.
5. What are your plans for 2019?
My plans for 2019 are to start working as a teacher. I also want to continue studying part time by completing my honours degree.
