Innocensia Mangoato says she’s always had an interest in science, and initially wanted to study medicine. She ended up doing a BSc in Physiology and genetics.

Innocensia Mangoato, Pharmacology Masters graduate, recently appeared on SABC3's flagship youth programme Hectic Nine9, after her research on using cannabis in cancer treatment earned her a 2018 Women in Science Award.

UFS resumes training of Educational Psychologists

In 2009 the Departments Psychology and Psycho-Education resumed the training of Educational Psychologists, after it had been dormant for a few years. This training will help ease the huge demand for Educational Psychologists in the central region of the country, as well as a need that was expressed by the Free State Department of Education in 2008.
