Innocensia Mangoato says she’s always had an interest in science, and initially wanted to study medicine. She ended up doing a BSc in Physiology and genetics.

Innocensia Mangoato, Pharmacology Masters graduate, recently appeared on SABC3's flagship youth programme Hectic Nine9, after her research on using cannabis in cancer treatment earned her a 2018 Women in Science Award.

New students start Governance Programme orientation

The new students, who have enrolled for the Postgraduate Diploma in Governance and Political Transformation in the Faculty of the Humanities for this year, started their orientation session this week. The students attended classes on each of the modules with different lecturers as part of the session. There are 33 students who have enrolled for this programme.
