Innocensia Mangoato says she’s always had an interest in science, and initially wanted to study medicine. She ended up doing a BSc in Physiology and genetics.
Innocensia Mangoato, Pharmacology Masters graduate, recently appeared on SABC3's flagship youth programme Hectic Nine9, after her research on using cannabis in cancer treatment earned her a 2018 Women in Science Award.

Oprah Winfrey to visit the UFS

The leadership of our university confirms that Miss Oprah Winfrey, American television host of The Oprah Winfrey Show, as well as producer and philanthropist, will be visiting our Bloemfontein Campus on Friday, 24 June 2011.
