Innocensia Mangoato says she’s always had an interest in science, and initially wanted to study medicine. She ended up doing a BSc in Physiology and genetics.

Innocensia Mangoato, Pharmacology Masters graduate, recently appeared on SABC3's flagship youth programme Hectic Nine9, after her research on using cannabis in cancer treatment earned her a 2018 Women in Science Award.

Kovsie Rose launched

The Kovsie Rose was launched at the Main Campus of the University of the Free State (UFS) in Bloemfontein.  The rose is cultivated by Ludwig's Roses and appears in the latest catalogue of this famous rose grower.  About 1000 roses will be planted on the campus.
