Innocensia Mangoato says she’s always had an interest in science, and initially wanted to study medicine. She ended up doing a BSc in Physiology and genetics.
Innocensia Mangoato, Pharmacology Masters graduate, recently appeared on SABC3's flagship youth programme Hectic Nine9, after her research on using cannabis in cancer treatment earned her a 2018 Women in Science Award.

KovsieGear opened its doors to students on Friday 31 January offering great opening specials.

Now, not only can you wear your Kovsie heart on your sleeve, but also on your shirt, your cap and even on your sports gear.

KovsieGear, the new merchandise shop of the UFS sells tailored shirts, trendy caps, gadgets and gifts.

You can find our shop on the Thakaneng Bridge, across from Absa Bank. Our retail hours are weekdays from 09:00 to 16:30. For any inquiries, please contact Francois Maritz at maritzfj@ufs.ac.za  .
