Innocensia Mangoato says she’s always had an interest in science, and initially wanted to study medicine. She ended up doing a BSc in Physiology and genetics.
Innocensia Mangoato, Pharmacology Masters graduate, recently appeared on SABC3's flagship youth programme Hectic Nine9, after her research on using cannabis in cancer treatment earned her a 2018 Women in Science Award.

Mathews Phosa becomes Visiting Professor

The Executive Management of the University of the Free State (UFS) approved the appointment of Dr Mathews Phosa, former politician and now businessman, as Visiting Professor to the UFS for a period of three years. Dr Phosa will be involved with the training of the UFS School of Management's MBA students.
