As the weather starts to cool and the trees begin to lose their leaves, the University of the Free State (UFS) commences with the Autumn graduation preparations, which will take place in the Callie Human Centre on the Bloemfontein Campus from 9-13 April 2018.
Students and their families can look forward to a fulfilling graduation ceremony that is bound to live up to the soon-to-be graduates’ dreams.

UFS launches Teaching and Learning Plan

The University of the Free State (UFS) recently launched a Teaching and Learning Plan. The plan outlines what is expected of teaching, learning and assessment and provides guidelines for good teaching and learning practices at the UFS. The plan was developed by Prof. Driekie Hay, Vice-Rector: Academic Planning, and Dr Saretha Brüssow, Head: Teaching, Learning and Assessment, together with a group of experienced academic staff active in teaching. The Vice-Rectors, Teaching and learning managers from the faculties, the Centre for Higher Education Studies and Development, Student Development and Success and the SRC representative: Academic, attended the launch of the Teaching and Learning Plan.
