As the weather starts to cool and the trees begin to lose their leaves, the University of the Free State (UFS) commences with the Autumn graduation preparations, which will take place in the Callie Human Centre on the Bloemfontein Campus from 9-13 April 2018.
Students and their families can look forward to a fulfilling graduation ceremony that is bound to live up to the soon-to-be graduates’ dreams.

The graduation ceremonies for the different faculties will be taking place on the following dates:

Agricultural centre holds first auction for the year

The University of the Free State's (UFS) Lengau Agricultural Development Centre presented its first auction for this year. About 500 sheep and 320 cattle were auctioned. The auction, which was handled by BKB, is a service that the UFS is rendering to commercial as well as emerging farmers and will in future be presented monthly. At the auction were, from the left: Prof. Herman van Schalkwyk (Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the UFS), Mr Dawid Botha (Manager at BKBLouwid), Mr Wynand Boshoff (seller of livestock), and Dr Léan van der Westhuizen (Head of the Lengau Agri Development Centre at the UFS).
