Priscillah Machinga


Priscillah Machinga is a postdoctoral research fellow at the International Studies Group. Her PhD thesis title is ‘A History of Maternal and Infant Health Practices in Northern Zimbabwe, C.1880s -1990s’. Her research interests are in African health and indigenous knowledge, socio-economic empowerment of women, and African cash crop farming. Priscillah has a Master of Arts in African Economic History and a BA Hons in Economic History, both from the University of Zimbabwe.
